Happy 1st Birthday!!!!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TAYLOR AND MADELINE!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. Thank you to our family and friends for the continual support you have given us and the girls over the past year and for all the wonderful birthday wishes! We really can't believe we have spent an entire year with our little girls, or as well call them, our little buggies or bug-bugs. They are such a blessing and we thank God every day that he brought such happy and healthy girls into our life. It hasn't always been easy over the year, but it has definitely been the most rewarding year of our life!

For their first birthday the girls started off with a yummy bottle, followed by our special St. Patrick's day shirts, courtesy of Great Grandmom and Granddad. After breakfast Daddy and the girls headed to the YMCA for a little workout and playtime. After a lunch of ham and cheese sandwiches and a nap Daddy and the girls headed out for a walk with their friend Haley and mom, Erin. For dinner Daddy and the girls met Mommy at IHOP!!! The girls did great at IHOP! Luckily they have always been good when we go out to eat (so far)! They enjoyed pancakes, banana, strawberries, other melon fruit and some water. Then for a special birthday treat they got a birthday song and an ice cream sundae. We did let the girls have a couple of bites of ice cream sundae (then Stan and I ate the rest) and they loved it!!! Which didn't surprise me since our girls have never seen a piece of food they don't like! They even drank from big girl straws! We had forgotten their sippy cups so IHOP had kids cups with lids and straws. Since their sippy cups have straws we thought we would give it a try, so Stan and I held the cups and Taylor and Madeline had no problem drinking the water. It worked out great.

The girls love to play! Notice the hair sprouts. I don't know what to call them since there is only one so it's not pigtails, and it is on the top so not a ponytail, therefore hair sprout seems to fit. Madeline sharing her ball with me. They both love to hand things to us, especially books to read.

This is the last picture before the girls arrived, we had just gotten checked in, all connected to the monitors and Stan decided he needed a camera phone picture, probably mid contraction.

Here are our two little angels who arrived at 5:50pm and 5:51pm. Madeline is on the left and Taylor on the right.
