4th of July at the Ranch

Here is the final installment of our Bandera, Flying L pictures!!! There are lots more if you want to see but we gave you the highlights. We had a wonderful trip spending time with the Fischer clan. We always enjoy our time at the ranch and definitely have lots of helping hands!

The girls both love animals, especially Taylor who want to go visit the "neigh" (pony) everyday after breakfast. There are actually 2 ponies, Jellybean and Brownie. Taylor would see them and say "neigh, neigh" They have pony rides for the kids each morning and Grandmom couldn't resist their first horse rides!!! Here is Granddad assisting Madeline.

4th of July picture of the family.

Here is our annual group picture. Normally we all shower and get ready for the picture. This year we decided to take a picture to show how we really look when we are at the ranch, t-shirts, shorts and sweaty, just the way we like it! The cake in the picture was from our winning golf cart! (see below for more pictures and explanation)

Each year the ranch has a golf cart parade to celebrate the 4th of July. All the visiting families sign up to decorate a golf cart and then they parade them around and award prizes. This year thanks to Liz's art's and craft's expertise, that she gained from all the years of nursery school, and Bennie's musical playlist of patriotic songs, the Fischer family won 1st prize!!!!!!! (Which was a 2 night stay at the ranch!)
