The girls are wonderful travelers and did fabulously on the plane both to Austin and back, including switching plans in Dallas. On our way to Austin we even saw one of the doctors from the Rex Hospital NICU that took care of our girls when they were born.
Our Trip to Texas will probably take me 3 separate posts since we have so many pictures, and I actually narrowed them down. We had a blast and can't wait for next year!
When we arrived to Austin we went to the tapeandmedia.com office for a visit and the girls had a blast! They played with the dogs, rode the cart, had a snack, picked up packing peanuts, found colored CD cases and just had a good time running around.
Can you get any cuter, Taylor snuggling on the couch with Dad before bed.
Grandmom had got the girls a little pool for the house in Austin and it was a good thing, since after we were at the ranch the girls were in the habit of going swimming every afternoon.

Good thing about being at home in the country is you can swim in your birthday suit!

Our little Taylor loves animals, the Little People farm toys, animals on the computer and even looking at them in real life...from a distance. Grandmom & Granddad have 3 horses at their house which you can see out the front door when they are in the pasture. Taylor & Madeline (especially Taylor) loved to peer out the front door and say "neigh neigh".

I blew the kiddie pool up inside and they immediately crawled right in a started to play.

I love this pic, Taylor's sprouts were especially poofy this day. We did find in the Texas humidity that both Taylor & Madeline have some nice little curls.

Madeline being silly.

Taylor, almost too tired to get a drink.
Madeline giving me a smirk.
Taylor carrying her blocks.

Although most people believe the reason Taylor has 2 sprouts and Madeline has 1 sprout is to tell them apart, it is actually for two reasons 1) Taylor has thicker hair than Madeline and if I give her 1 sprout she tends to pull it out easily, 2 she leaves alone for the most part, 2) Madeline will barely sit still for me to give her 1 sprout, much less 2 :)
