The Twins take on Connecticut

The first week in August we made the trip up to CT to visit family and friends. We had a great time playing in the back yard, seeing our Tapeandmedia.com friends, BBQing with some of our good friends from high school and spending time with our family. Our girls are fabulous flyers so it makes it very easy to hop a plane to see everyone, the amount of stuff we travel with is another story :) Thank you to my mom's colleagues who let us borrow their pack-n-plays, it made our travel life much easier.

It took Taylor about 2 minutes to find the swings in the backyard. Since there are too small to sit on them they had to improvise, but LOVED it.

The girls loved playing the piano, I use the word "playing" loosely, but they were quite gentle.

The whole family enjoyed the backyard.

We didn't get very many good BBQ pictures since the kids were all over the place but here a few shots. It was wonderful to see our good friends! (Myra & JoJo, Ali & Enzo, Kristen & Taylor& Madeline)

Me and little Enzo. He was light as a feather compared to my girls now. It is hard to remember when they were small.

We were lucky to cross paths for one full day with my brother's family. CJ, Meg, Kayleigh & Aidan. We miss them very much and were glad that the cousins had a chance to play together.

Mid week we travelled to Massachusetts to visit the lake and see my grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousins. There were way too many pictures to post here so stay tuned for our Massachusetts visit!
