Puddles!

One rainy summer day while Mommy was working Daddy let the girls frolic in the puddles when they got home from the YMCA. These make me laugh and look at the curls! When it rains hard the girls go to the sliding door and say "hi rain". In the summer we would open the slider to let them listen and see the rain and stick their hands out to feel it. I love the innocence.

On a side note the girls like to "jump" which they recently can actually do. The used to stand on a book and say "jump" and then step off of it, which cracked Stan and I up constantly. Or bend down like they were really going to jump, like Madeline's picture above then stand up and take a step. It was very comical, but they can actually get a sliver of air beneath their feet now :)

Side note #2 - Madeline loves to stick her hands in water or any liquid. If something spills on the floor she is over there with her hands in it. She used to splash her hands in Daisy's water bowl, which fortunately she stopped doing. She also will stick her hands in the toilet bowl to splash in the water if you leave it open. Particularly gross, but very funny.
