First Airplane Ride to Texas

On Tuesday the girls got to ride on their first airplane as we made way to Texas for the annual Fischer Family Reunion at the Flying L Ranch. They were both WONDERFUL on the airplane and everyone commented on what great babies we had. We flew from Raleigh to Nashville, changed planes, and continued on to Austin. We arrived at the airport with 9 bags (argh), two regular bags, two car seat bags, one stroller bag, three carry-ons and my purse. Since the girls are too small to sit in their stroller without their car seats Stan and I carried them in their baby Bjorn carriers. We were very anxious about the girls first airplane ride but they couldn't have been better babies. They ate, slept, and got changed all is good spirits. Much to my surprise they actually have a baby changing table in the front bathroom of the Southwest planes! It made my diaper changing much easier.

The crib the girls are sleeping in here was actually Stan's crib, with a new mattress of course. Once again, no matter how far we put them apart they always seem to end up near each other.
