Madeline has now seemed to find her thumb (as seen below). It doesn't always soothe her but sometimes it buys us a little extra time and keeps her sleeping. Taylor has also found her fingers and likes to suck on the pointer finger of her left hand most often. Neither one does it all the time but enough that I could see a trend.
We have determined bath nights are Wednesdays and Sundays so last night we remembered to put them on our baby scale BEFORE we put them in the bath and without any clothes or diapers. Madeline was 11 lbs 11 oz and Taylor was 10 lbs 13 oz so they seem to be growing well! The next doctors appointment isn't until July 24th for their 4 month appointment.
One more update on the day care front. We originally thought we would have a nanny come take care of the girls when I go back to work, however that proved to be a very hard task as two of them bailed on us at the last minute. It just wasn't meant to be, but we found a great day care that is actually the same price as the nanny but we get more hours if we need them. It was recommended by three moms in the TMOTT (triangle mothers of twins and triplets) group. They all take/took their twins there and loved it. We were very fortunate to have found a place so late in the game and that gives a great twin discount!! Still costs an arm and a leg but at least it is only one arm and one leg so we are still hobbling along :)
