Weekend Fun

We have come to really enjoy our weekends, especially in the mornings. We put the girls to bed around 7:30pm now so when 5am comes they are ready to greet the day! Their morning meal is followed by some kids songs and then we take their boppys and them and head into our room to laugh and play on the bed and watch some cartoons. By 6:30 or 7am they are ready to snooze again and we all take a morning nap in the bed. The girls in their boppys in the middle and Stan and I on either side. This way we don't have to worry about us rolling into them or them going anywhere since they snooze so nicely in the boppys. It is kind of funny since this is the only time they really want to nap in their boppys. Any other time it is the crib, swing or bouncy seat.

Developmentally they seem to be doing something new all the time which is very exciting for Stan and I. They have been putting their hands in their mouths for a little while now, but now they also are grabbing for object and putting them in there too. They still aren't always good at grasping them, but they are holding them long enough to suck on them for a little bit.

They also continue to love the exersaucer and are getting more used to the jumperoo everyday. Now that they can play in them independently Stan and I can eat dinner while they play, bonus for us! They have also started to know that each other exist which is pretty neat to see. They seem to be looking at each other and sometime even seem to be carrying on a conversation.

Here is a picture and video of them in their bumbos on the bed after their 10am meal. They had a lot to say and enjoy their blankets too!

It was a joy to see and hear the girls. They seem to be growing like crazy. We really enjoy the blog and as Stan said it will be a great record of your family's growth.
