Now that we are starting to feel better here are some post mealtime pics. After eat meal Taylor usually likes to play with her spoon for awhile and Madeline has taken to playing with the bib. Taylor's version of play usually makes things more messy while Madeline usually nicely wipes her face while playing with her bib.
Stan has started making their baby food which has been a HUGE success! When we started to calculate how much the girls ate, we found they eat 42 jars of baby food a week in addition to rice cereal. The baby food in the jars is also contains a lot of water. So far we have made peas, carrots, avocado, banana, pears, applesauce, and sweet potatoes. Since the girls can handle thicker food now, we don't add as much water and they eat every bite! Their teachers at school also say they spit up much less (Taylor mostly, Madeline was never a spitter) with the homemade food and we have cut down on the mess they make too.
Taylor has two bottom teeth coming in which we can see but can't capture on camera yet. So far no teeth for Madeline but, as all babies do, everything seems to go into both their mouths for a taste test.
The girls both don't really like tummy time, but are definitely strong enough to roll themselves off their tummy's. Neither one of them chooses to roll from their back to their stomach yet, but we think that is by choice. They will roll up onto their side to get something or to play and Taylor especially likes to be on her side as it is her most favorite sleeping position too. Madeline likes to sleep on her back with her hands up by her head. While awake Madeline is not much for lying down at all. She likes to be sitting up or in the exersaucer. The do well sitting up while you are there with them but definitely aren't stable enough to be by themselves.
They still LOVE their exersaucer and Taylor has really taken to the Jumperoo now, really making it jump.

Some playtime on the floor.

Hey! We sold our house! We're in the process of looking for a place in Coats. Can't wait to get together with you and the girls again soon though. They are so cute in these (and all of their) pictures. Are you dressing them up for Halloween? James is going to be a fluffy puppy, but we're just visiting grandparents. :)
