Sick Little Munchkins

Stan and I had parents intuition on Thursday night... Taylor has been coughing and congested since their 6 month appointment and Madeline had just started to get congested and cough too so we decided we would call the doctor on Friday and get them an appointment just to be safe... well when Stan went to school to pick them up they said they were about to call us as Madeline was running a fever.

After a trip to the doctor we found out Taylor had an ear infection and Madeline had flu symptoms. So saline nasal drops, suction and Motrin for both of them and antibiotics for Taylor's ear infection. Poor Madeline has been running a fever on and off since Friday. The Motrin will bring it down but then it comes right back again. We are hoping it is gone by the morning, it is not fun to feel such a warm baby. They are both still eating and drinking so that is good.

They have learned a new trick at school, THEY HOLD THEIR OWN BOTTLES!!! YEAH!!! Here are some pics we took today. We still have to stay near them because they get tired toward the end with the big bottles but they do very well for their age! The doctor was impressed since she said she wouldn't have expected that with 2 month early preemies.
